The “Panoramic Ferris Wheel” attraction in Podil officially stopped operating due to an order from the prosecutor’s office. This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv City State Administration.
The owner of the attraction has already begun dismantling on his own initiative.
“Specialists have repeatedly issued an order for dismantling, the last of which is dated December 22”, said the director of the Department of Territorial Control, Mykhailo Budilov.
In addition, an administrative protocol has been drawn up against the managers of the attraction. At the same time, according to the Periodic Technical Inspection Act dated October 21, 2025, the attraction could be operated: all mechanisms, components and safety devices were working properly, and the metal structure and welded joints had no cracks or deformations.
The city is currently negotiating with the owner regarding the possibility of moving the Ferris wheel to another location in Kyiv.
