The Ministry of Defense approved the Human Capital Development Strategy

On January 6, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine approved the Strategy for the Development of Human Capital in the Defense Forces until 2027. It is aimed at modernizing the military personnel management system. About this reported press service of the department.

The new document covers the entire cycle of professional activity of military personnel, starting from the moment of entry into service and before their transition to civilian life. As Deputy Minister of Defense Serhiy Melnyk noted, the key task is to create proper conditions for service, promote career growth, and provide psychological, medical, and social support.

The strategy envisages improvement of the military education system with integration into career management, introduction of transparent financial support and social protection mechanisms, improvement of medical care and rehabilitation, as well as support for the families of dead and missing soldiers.

Special emphasis is placed on cooperation with NATO and implementation of Euro-Atlantic standards. The Ministry of Defense emphasized that these changes will help strengthen the country’s defense capabilities and accelerate Ukraine’s Euro-Atlantic integration.
