The Ministry of Digitization announced the update of the rules for working with open data

The Government of Ukraine adopted a resolution that updates the rules for working with open data. From now on, key information will be collected in an updated single list. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Digital Transformation.

Thanks to the changes, citizens, businesses and public organizations will be able to quickly find the necessary data for conducting analytics, creating services or monitoring the use of budget funds.

“Open data is the basis of a transparent and convenient state. That’s why we made working with it easier and clearer for everyone“, the department emphasized.

Government bodies will receive specific recommendations for uploading information to the Unified Open Data Portal. In addition, an evaluation will be carried out every year, which will check the completeness and relevance of the published information.

Open-data is publicly available government information that does not contain personal or confidential data. Thanks to such integrations, Ukrainians can already check a car before buying, find business partners in open databases or search for the nearest pharmacy on the map.

Let us remind you that in December of last year, Ukraine entered the top 3 of the European Open Data Maturity rating for the third time in a row. Despite the full-scale war, the state continues to hold the position of one of the leaders in the field of open data development.
