The program “Health Screening 40+” has been launched in Ukraine
A national program called “Health Screening 40+” has been launched in Ukraine, which is aimed at early detection of cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, and mental health problems among citizens aged 40 and over.
According to the Ministry of Health, at the end of January 2026, people who have reached the age of 40 will begin to receive the first notifications inviting them to join the program. The notification will be sent via the “Diya” application on the 30th day after their birthday.
After confirming participation, funds in the amount of 2,000 hryvnia will be credited to the Diya.Card within seven days. They can be used exclusively to pay for screening services. For citizens who do not use the “Diya” application, there is an opportunity to issue a bank card and submit an application through the Administrative Services Center.
The “Health Screening 40+” program includes a questionnaire and assessment of individual risks of cardiovascular diseases, type 2 diabetes, and mental health. A physical examination is also provided, including blood pressure measurement, assessment of heart rate and rhythm, and anthropometry, as well as laboratory tests to assess the functioning of the heart, blood vessels, and kidneys.
Based on the results of the examinations, the doctor will provide individual recommendations on lifestyle, prescribe medications, or refer for additional examinations if necessary. The Ministry of Health emphasizes that timely participation in the program allows you to prevent the development of serious diseases and monitor your health at an early stage.
