Live on Ukrainian radio on December 4 announced the names of the winners of this year’s National Unity Radio Dictatorship. The absolute winner was Khrystyna Hoyanyuk from Lviv, who wrote the text without a single mistake. She is a multiple participant and winner who has not missed a single Radio Dictator for 25 years.
In the category with one error, there are no winners this year. Instead, several participants made only two mistakes, among them Natalya Timicheva, Andriy Bondar (a teacher from the Krushinsk gymnasium in Kyiv region), Yulia Pereshch (Oster Lyceum in Chernihiv region), Darina Kryachko and Nataliya Rubezhanska.
According to Yulia Sheludko, executive producer of Ukrainian Radio and Radiodictant coordinator, participants often added words of gratitude and admiration for the text and the reader to the letters with the texts.
“Many letters were received from dangerous areas, in particular: Pokrovska, Sumy, Cherkasy township (Donetsk region), Kostyantynivka (Donetsk region), Lyman (Luhansk region), Kherson, Sloviansk, Luhansk, Druzhkivka (Donetsk region) “Kramatorsk”, – she informed.
The oldest participant in this year’s dictation was 99 years old, and the youngest – 7. In total, more than 10,000 texts from more than 30 countries of the world were received for verification: e-mail was mostly used for this, although there were also paper letters.
