The State Customs Service launches two new AI-based user support features
The State Customs Service has introduced two new functions that use artificial intelligence: AI support in cases where the bot does not recognize the user’s request, and the ability to ask questions by voice.
“If the bot does not recognize the user’s request, it automatically turns to a specially trained artificial intelligence-based system created to assist with customs matters”, — the State Customs Service said in a statement.
From now on, users can not only enter requests in text, but also submit them by voice. This makes the service even more convenient and accessible – especially for drivers, declarants and those who work in conditions of constant traffic. The voice communication function makes the service more convenient for drivers, declarants and everyone who works in a dynamic environment.
Recall that the customs review for the third quarter of 2025 reported the installation of new equipment for checking postal items and four mobile scanning systems with AI. In addition, a contact center is being created for business interaction with customs authorities and the development of the “Risk Profile Manager” IT system has begun, which should digitize document flow and simplify risk management.
