The state fully compensates the cost of contract education for students who are children of military personnel
In the 2024/2025 academic year, the state will fully cover the cost of contract education for students who are children of military personnel. About this reported press service of the Diya platform.
Compensation is provided for students under the age of 23 who are children of fallen defenders, disabled soldiers, combatants, missing persons or prisoners, as well as injured participants of the Revolution of Dignity. This year’s undergraduate and graduate graduates have already received the first 1,000 certificates. Notifications of assistance are received through the “Action” application.
To use the support, you need to check the presence of a certificate in “Diya”, confirm your consent to receive compensation using “Diya”. Sign within 20 days and wait for a decision. The funds will be transferred directly to the educational institution, which, in turn, will compensate the student for the corresponding amount.
To participate in the program, you need an ID card or a biometric passport in the “Action” application, a confirmed tax number, the official status of a child veteran in the registry, as well as training on a contract basis in 2024/2025.
The program is implemented by the Ministry of Veterans Affairs together with the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Digital Affairs and the Action platform with the support of the United Nations Development Program in Ukraine and the Swedish government.
