The Supreme Court of Ukraine upheld the sentence of the nurse who passed on the data of the AFU fighters to the enemy.

The Supreme Court of Ukraine upheld the verdict, according to which a nurse from the Kherson region was sentenced to life imprisonment for passing data on the country’s defenders to the Russian special services. This is stated in the court’s decision.

The document states that the decision of the Kherson Court of Appeal of July 23, 2025 was upheld, and the court rejected the defense attorney’s cassation appeal.

According to the investigation, the woman, working as a nurse, transmitted personal data of servicemen undergoing treatment, as well as information about the location of units, their weapons, and the movements of military equipment, to a representative of the FSB of the Russian Federation via messenger. The information received was used by the enemy to plan missile and artillery strikes and adjust fire.

The investigation established that the nurse, while processing medical records, collected personal data about servicemen and passed this information to the curator. Also, during the procedures, she allegedly tried to ask patients for information about the locations of military facilities in the Kherson direction.

During the searches, a mobile phone was seized from her, which, according to investigators, was used for secret contacts with the curator.

The woman was found guilty of high treason committed under martial law, under Part Two of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

In July, the court sentenced her to life imprisonment with confiscation of property – according to the investigation, the 40-year-old nurse acted on the orders of the FSB and transferred personal data of the wounded and other defenders of the defense forces.
