The World Bank will allocate funding for the purchase of computer equipment for the Pension Fund of Ukraine as part of the project “Modernization of the Social Support System of the Population of Ukraine”. About this reported Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine.
On September 6, 2024, a tender for the purchase of computers for Pension Fund service centers was announced on the Prozorro platform. The purchase will be made with the funds of the World Bank, which are aimed exclusively at the modernization of social services.
Previously, such purchases were made outside of Prozorro, which negatively affected the efficiency of the process. All procedures will now take place through Prozorro, which will increase transparency and ensure fair competition. The organizer of the auctions is the “Professional Procurement” DU.
The Pension Fund of Ukraine already has a developed IT system that covers not only pension payments, but also social insurance, subsidies and other payments. Updating of computer equipment aims to improve the quality of service to citizens.
The Ministry of Social Policy calls on suppliers to familiarize themselves with the terms of the tender and submit their offers.
According to Prozorro, the deadline for submitting proposals is October 18, 2024, and requests for clarification of documentation are accepted until September 27, 2024. The estimated purchase price is $4.17 million excluding VAT.
Within the framework of this purchase, the supply of 3,221 personal computers of the first type, 560 computers of the second type and 3,781 office software packages is provided. All items must be delivered by August 1, 2025.
