The Yasno company explained the meaning of Ukrenergo schedules and the principle of their operation

As informs the press service of the company, after another mass attack by Russia on August 26, Ukraine began to use blackout schedules again. For residents of the country, questions about in which cases these schedules are introduced and what affects them remain relevant.

Yasno explained that a queue is a group of consumers that consumes a certain amount of electricity. There are six such queues in total.

An increase in the shortage of electricity in the system leads to the fact that more queues of consumers are disconnected simultaneously during stabilization restrictions.

The number of simultaneously disconnected queues reflects the seriousness of the electricity supply situation:

  • One queue: power outages up to 4 hours a day.
  • Two shifts: no light for up to 8 hours every day.
  • Three queues: there is no electricity for up to 12 hours a day.
  • Four turns: more than 12 hours without light, including the areas marked in light gray in the graphs.
  • Five or six queues: an emergency situation occurs, planned shutdown schedules do not work, emergency power outages are carried out.
