Russian troops struck a residential area of Zaporizhia, killing an 18-year-old boy and a girl and injuring 11 people, including – three children. As reported by the head of the Zaporizhia OVA Ivan Fedorov, the strike occurred in the evening, when residents of the city were returning home, and cars caught fire in residential areas and glass flew out of houses.
“Unfortunately, an 18-year-old boy and a girl were killed”, – reported the head of the Zaporizhzhia OVA Ivan Fedorov.
He also informed that initially it was known about at least nine wounded, including three children – a 15-year-old girl and boys 12 and 11 years old.
Later, the number of injured increased to 11. According to Fedorov, four high-rise buildings, cars and non-residential premises were damaged in the city, and later it became known about the destruction of another residential building.
Doctors diagnosed the wounded with shrapnel wounds, head injuries and contusions, all of whom are being provided with the necessary medical care. The air alert in the Zaporizhzhia region has been ongoing for over 27 hours.
