Tymoshenko appealed to the High Council of Justice with a complaint against Judge Dubas
Yulia Tymoshenko filed a complaint with the High Council of Justice against Judge Vitaliy Dubas due to his actions in the case against her, as reports in her statement the leader of the parliamentary faction “Batkivshchyna”. In the appeal, she claims that the judge allegedly acts not independently, but in the interests of political groups, and her team, according to her, has evidence of his violation of the law.
The politician also drew parallels between the current situation and cases during the reign of Viktor Yanukovych, mentioning former judge Rodion Kireev, who previously considered her cases in the Pechersk court.
“If NABU, SAPO, and VAKS have already taken up the falsification of the case against me, we will make their every unjust step public for Ukraine and the whole world. We will not allow them to hide even the slightest violations, we are closely monitoring every word, every procedural action”, – said Yulia Tymoshenko.
The complaint appeared after a judge of the High Anti-Corruption Court appealed to the High Council of Justice and the Prosecutor General of Ukraine on January 22 with a statement about interference in the administration of justice. The judge’s name was not officially named in this message, but the circumstances of the case point specifically to Vitaliy Dubas, who was considering the proceedings against Yulia Tymoshenko in the case of suspicion of offering a bribe.
