Ukraine has introduced a unified drone control system for the entire army

Ukraine has completed the deployment of the Mission Control digital drone control system in all corps and troop groups. The solution, which is part of the DELTA ecosystem, was scaled to the entire army in two months. This was reported by Minister of Defense Mykhailo Fedorova.

The system was launched only two months ago, and during this time it was deployed at the level of the entire army. Mission Control gives commanders a complete picture of the use of drones – from preparing operations to analyzing their effectiveness.

The system displays all the work of drone units, including the performance of reconnaissance, destruction, mining, logistics, and evacuation tasks. Information is automatically organized into analytical panels, enabling quick decisions at all levels of management, from battalions to the General Staff.

At the same time as the system was implemented, the Ministry of Defense eliminated paper and spreadsheet reports that were previously used to record drone operations. In particular, this applies to forms 5.31 and 5.32, which units spent several hours filling out, which slowed down the transfer of information.

Now, after entering data into Mission Control, the system itself generates analytics that become available to commanders in almost real time. This allows to significantly reduce the bureaucratic burden and make management more efficient.

The Ministry of Defense emphasizes that the implementation of Mission Control has become the basis for the transition to data-driven management of unmanned systems. It is expected that this will contribute to faster decision-making, increased combat effectiveness and saving the lives of military personnel.

In January, Defense Minister Mikhail Fedorov signed an order to launch Mission Control, a drone control system. This is a revolutionary project, within the framework of which each crew enters the type of UAV, launch point, route and task into the system.
