Ukraine has started accepting applications for grants for processing enterprises
Ukrainian processing industry enterprises can receive grants for modernization and expansion of production. About this reported press service of the Ministry of Economy.
“Almost 1,000 enterprises have already updated their equipment thanks to this program. In 2025, the state will allocate 3.6 billion hryvnias, which will support the development of the processing industry and contribute to the creation of more than 3,400 new jobs.”, – noted the First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yuliya Svyridenko.
Enterprises engaged in the production of food products, furniture, chemical products, metal products, as well as representatives of woodworking, textile and other industries (KVED S) can apply for a grant. All entrepreneurs, except those working in temporarily occupied territories, can receive financing.
To qualify for the grant, a business must create at least 5 jobs and operate for at least three years, returning funds through taxes paid. The bank evaluates the business plan, and the Ministry of Economy makes the final decision on granting the grant.
Funding can be used to purchase, deliver, install and launch production equipment, including software. According to the Ministry of Economy, the program involves co-financing, that is, funds are invested by both the state and the manufacturer. The 50/50 scheme applies to most regions.
