President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that in the coming days, advisers to Ukraine and the European Union will hold a meeting to discuss a plan to end the war. He stated this during a joint press conference with Dutch Foreign Minister David van Willem in Kyiv.

“I think our advisers will meet in the coming days. We agreed on approximately Friday, Saturday. The features of this plan will be discussed, Zelensky noted. The President emphasized that the key condition for ending the war is a ceasefire, and the plan itself will be the starting point for further diplomatic actions. This is the plan from which diplomacy begins. And, in principle, it is the main one. I understand this perfectly well, and everyone understands that after the ceasefire and having an understanding of security guarantees, it will be very difficult for Russia to resume aggression if there are strong security guarantees. Therefore, this plan is focused on this, he explained. Recall that on October 27, Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Kyiv, together with European leaders, would work on a ceasefire plan for seven or ten days. He also emphasized that the document should be short and without unnecessary details.
