President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy dismissed Andriy Yermak from the position of Head of the President’s Office. This was reported in Decree No. 868/2025, published on November 28.
The resignation took place after a search of Andriy Yermak’s home. The National Anti-Corruption Bureau confirmed on the morning of November 28 that the head of the President’s Office is under investigation.
After Yermak’s dismissal, the president also announced the renewal of the composition of Ukraine’s negotiating team. In his evening video address on November 28, Volodymyr Zelensky announced that important negotiations will take place in the near future, and Ukraine will be represented by a renewed team. The negotiating group will include the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, intelligence, and the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council.
This is the first announcement by the president about the composition of the negotiating group after the resignation of Andriy Yermak. The Head of State thanked Yermak for “always representing the Ukrainian position patriotically and clearly,” but noted the need to renew the team ahead of key diplomatic processes.
Zelensky also informed that at the end of this week, the Ukrainian and American delegations will hold a new round of coordination of the provisions of the peace plan prepared in Geneva, and assured that the Ukrainian side is “well prepared and ready for substantive work,” with the constant involvement of partners from the US and the EU.
The President also announced “important negotiations” from December 1 to 7.
