In Ukraine, individual doctors will be debooked and mobilized

The Ministry of Health and the Medical Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine agreed on a mechanism for disarmament of medical workers for the needs of the army. About this reported press office of the Ministry of Health.
The procedure for removing the armor will take place at the request of the Ministry of Defense and the Command of the Medical Forces. At the same time, the Ministry of Health, together with health departments, will form lists of specialists who will be involved in military medicine.
Reservation requests will be submitted by heads of medical institutions through the Diya portal. After that, specialists will be mobilized to the Armed Forces or other military units for medical positions, where there is a need. The contract will be concluded for one year.
Minister of Health Viktor Lyashko noted that decisions will be made taking into account real needs, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a balance so that the medical system functions effectively both at the front and in the rear.
He also emphasized that more than 75% of wounded servicemen are treated in civilian medical institutions:
“Today, more than 75% of wounded servicemen are being treated in civilian medical institutions. It is important for us to ensure the uninterrupted provision of medical care in full. That is why the government decided to reserve 100% of medical workers.”
It will be recalled that earlier the government decided to reserve 100% of medical workers in state and communal health care institutions, public health institutions, blood centers, as well as specialists in forensic medicine and forensic psychiatric examination, if work in these institutions is their main place of employment.
