Mexico has already received 11 thousand migrants deported from the United States

After Donald Trump took office as US president, Mexican authorities accepted about 11,000 deported migrants. About this stated Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum.

According to the head of Mexico, this number includes both Mexican citizens and approximately 2,500 people from other countries. She also reported that Mexico had repatriated some of the migrants to Honduras, using both flights and land transport.

“But it’s voluntary. We will continue to accompany them so that they can return to their countries.” – emphasized the president of Mexico.

It will be recalled that on January 22, Donald Trump signed a decree to close the southern US border with Mexico to illegal migrants. He also ordered the deportation of people who crossed the border illegally.
