The Coordination Center for Integrated Border Management has become operational in Ukraine

The Coordinating Center for Integrated Border Management has started work in Ukraine. The activity of such a center is one of the criteria for our country’s accession to the EU.
About this write State Border Service:
“The coordination center is designed to ensure monitoring and coverage of the situation at the state border. It was created on the basis of the Situation Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, by the resolution of the Government of Ukraine in accordance with the requirements of the EU Regulation. The Center’s activities are one of the criteria for Ukraine’s accession to the EU. Employees of 5 entities will work as part of the center: the State Border Guard Service, the State Customs Service, the National Police, the National Guard and the State Migration Service“, the message says.
It is noted that the work of the Center will be aimed at facilitating the coordination of the actions of the subjects of the IAC, conducting data exchange and conducting research, forming joint conclusions and forecasts, and preparing a situational report on the situation at the state border.
The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Ihor Klymenko, noted that this form of interaction allows continuous 24/7 monitoring of the state of the security environment in the country.
