The defense forces hit the logistics point for the distribution of drones of the Russian Federation
Defence forces destroyed a logistics point for the distribution of drones and a regimental ammunition depot of Russian troops in the Luhansk region, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to confirmed data, the enemy tried to organize the delivery of various types of ammunition for the 17th tank regiment of the 70th motorized rifle division near the temporarily occupied Bohdanivka, Luhansk region. In particular, the occupiers operating in the Donetsk region planned to distribute more than 19,000 UAVs of various models.
Tens of thousands of mines, grenades and cartridges of various calibers, thousands of shots for tanks (in particular, high-precision ZUBK-14) and artillery shells were delivered to the field depot of the tank regiment by trucks. The rest of the cargo consisted of various drones and related equipment — batteries, communication modules, and video transmitters.
The logistics point for the distribution of drones was the first to be hit – a significant supply of enemy attack UAVs was destroyed. It happened on August 18 by the forces of the operative-strategic grouping of troops “Dnipro”.
On September 18, the Armed Forces together with the Security Service of Ukraine struck the second ammunition strike. A regimental warehouse of ammunition in the Luhansk region was destroyed, and enemy cars were also burned.
