The European Union transferred another tranche of 2.3 billion euros to Ukraine

Ukraine has received 2.3 billion euros in financial support from the European Union under the Ukraine Facility – the corresponding funds have already been credited to the State Budget, the Ministry of Finance reported. This is the sixth regular tranche under Pillar I of the Facility, which includes 2.1 billion euros in credit resources and 200 million euros in grant aid.

The attracted funding is planned to be used to cover the state’s priority social and humanitarian needs. The allocation of funds became possible after Ukraine completed eight reform steps required to receive the sixth tranche, as well as one step stipulated in the terms of the fourth tranche of the program.

As the Ministry of Finance reminds, the Ukraine Facility is a program of financial support for Ukraine from the EU in the amount of 50 billion euros, aimed at ensuring macroeconomic stability, modernization, reconstruction and acceleration of European integration in 2024–2027.

Funding is provided in tranches after confirmation of the implementation of agreed structural indicators. In 2025, Ukraine has already received 8.35 billion euros under this program, and in total, since 2024, more than 26.7 billion euros have been received by the state budget, of which more than 10.6 billion euros – in 2025.

The European Union remains the largest donor of financial support to Ukraine: since February 2022, the amount of assistance has reached 70.7 billion euros, in particular, more than 28.7 billion euros were provided in 2025.
