The government suspended the head of the State Health Service after NABU searches and a journalistic investigation.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has decided to suspend Roman Isayenko from his duties as Head of the State Service for Medicines and Drug Control, and to initiate disciplinary proceedings against him. About this is at the disposal of the Cabinet of Ministers.
The Commission on the Higher Civil Service Corps was entrusted with conducting the disciplinary procedure, which must complete the consideration of the case by January 27, 2026.
As reported in the EP, in November, detectives of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau conducted searches in the central office of the State Service, in particular in Isayenko’s office.
In addition, in February of this year, the official was the focus of the Bihus.Info investigation. Journalists found that the private laboratory “Dobrobut-Likilab” almost immediately after its creation began to receive a significant number of orders from the State Medical Service for testing medicines.
According to investigators, the creation of this laboratory was involved in the people around Roman Isayenko, as well as an employee of the Security Service of Ukraine, who works in a specialized unit.
