The Ministry of Defense has started its own production of FPV drones

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine launched the licensed production of modern FPV drones on the basis of one of the state enterprises. About this informs press service of the Ministry of Defense.

“Thanks to the integration of the state into production chains, we got a clear understanding of the cost of drone production and our competitive advantages in this market. This will improve the quality of finished products due to constant competition.” – noted the First Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Ivan Havryliuk.

The pilot project was launched under the coordination of the Main Directorate of Defense Innovations of the Ministry of Defense. Thanks to this, Ukraine got the opportunity to produce codified FPV drones. As part of the tripartite agreement, the private developer granted a license for the production of drones, which will be carried out at one of the state-owned enterprises under the Ministry of Defense.

In addition, specialists of the Main Directorate of Defense Innovations have developed a plan to launch similar production facilities together with other developers of unmanned aircraft complexes.

“We are ready to expand cooperation with private companies. We have a package of template documents and step-by-step instructions for launching similar lines for the production of BPAK at other state-owned enterprises”, – Yuriy Taranyuk, Head of the Main Directorate of Defense Innovations, emphasized.
