The Ministry of Internal Affairs announced a large-scale restart of service centers

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine announced a large-scale restart of service centers, aimed at eliminating inconveniences that citizens experienced when receiving services. Currently, a technical audit of all work processes is being conducted, and a new team of managers of the Main Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is being formed. About this reported spokeswoman of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Maryana Reva.

According to her, specialists of the ministry have already held consultations with experts of state structures, in particular from the Ministry of Digital Transformation, for the implementation of best practices. The main task is the complete elimination of technical problems, in particular those related to online registration to service centers. However, the changes will affect not only digitalization — a complete reform of work processes is planned, including updating the staff, strengthening control over activities and revising the regulatory and legal acts regulating the operation of the centers.

Soon, the Main Service Center will receive new management, because the previous managers were fired at their own request. At the same time, as Reva specified, official checks are ongoing in relation to them. The activities of employees of the Kyiv territorial service center No. 8041, who appeared in the Bihus.Info journalistic investigation, are also being investigated. Reva emphasized that such incidents have a negative impact on the reputation of service centers and cast a shadow on honest employees who do their work conscientiously.

Inspections are currently carried out in all service centers of Ukraine. The purpose of these measures is to identify violations and unscrupulous behavior of individual employees. All collected facts are forwarded to the competent authorities for further investigation. Results of inspections can range from disciplinary action, such as reprimands, to firing employees, the spokeswoman said. In case of detection of signs of administrative or criminal offenses, relevant materials are transferred for detailed investigative actions.
