Starting from July 1, 2025, the administration of social benefits in Ukraine will be transferred to the Pension Fund. About this reported press service of the Ministry of Social Policy.
Nothing will change for welfare recipients – everyone who is entitled to benefits will continue to receive them. The changes concern only internal procedures. At the same time, the number of access points where you can apply for social benefits from the state budget is expanding. In addition to TsNAPs and representatives of local councils, it will now be possible to submit documents through the nearest service center of the Pension Fund, which will make services more accessible.
It is expected that the processing of applications and monthly calculation will become faster, because all processes will be digitized and handed over to the Pension Fund, which has one of the most powerful IT systems among government agencies.
Previously, applications were processed through a multi-level paper system: from the district to the state level, with returns to the sites for final assessment. Such a mechanism was complex, time-consuming and often caused delays and arrears.
After July 1, digital data circulation is also introduced. After the citizen’s application, the information will be immediately transferred to the employee of the Pension Fund through online services. After processing, the funds will be transferred to the applicant’s bank card. Digitization will make it possible to quickly process applications and repay debts.
You can apply to the Pension Fund asonline — through an electronic portal and mobile application, and offline — through more than 500 service centers on the controlled territory of Ukraine.
