Mayor of Kharkiv Ihor Terekhov reported, that on the night of February 5, the Russian army struck the central part of the city.
“We have information about an attack by “Shakhed” on the central part of the city. We are finding out the details”, – says the message.
Later, Terekhov clarified that the Russians hit the administrative building in the Saltiv district:
“The enemy struck an administrative building located in the Saltiv district. There was a fire at the site of the impact. Windows were broken in the high-rise building opposite. The gas station was damaged. Information about the victims was not received at the moment.”
The area of ignition after the attack by “Shakhed” in the Saltiv district exceeds 200 square meters. The fire engulfed the roof of the administrative building, which is an architectural monument. The fire was contained at 05:20. The glazing of the windows of the buildings of the educational institution was also damaged.
At 3:16 a.m., Terekhov reported another strike, this time in the Osnovyansk district, where a fire also broke out. As a result of the impact, one person was injured – she has an acute reaction to stress.
