There are no plans to increase tariffs for electricity, gas and heat yet: Denys Shmyhal’s statement

The Ukrainian authorities do not plan to change tariffs for gas, heat and electricity until the end of the current heating season. About this stated Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal. According to the head of the Cabinet of Ministers, the fourth “Winter Support” program provides for maintaining stable tariffs during the winter.
“The state undertakes that tariffs for gas, heat, and electricity will not increase until the end of the heating season. We are not planning any increases”, – emphasized Shmyhal.
At the same time, the Association of Gas Production Companies of Ukraine appealed to the NCRECP with a proposal to hold a meeting to discuss gas transportation tariffs for 2025-2029.
Earlier, the National Commission for the Regulation of Energy and Communal Services (NKREKP) has already approved an increase in the electricity transmission tariff for the operator Ukrenergo. This decision is explained by the need to maintain the reliability of the power system, especially in the conditions when the infrastructure is being restored after the Russian attacks.
