Title: Russian Federation destroys Kupyansk with CABs and continues to advance, 4000 civilians are threatened

Russian occupation forces continue to actively destroy the city of Kupyansk in the Kharkiv region, using guided aerial bombs during regular attacks. About this reported head of the city military administration Andrii Besedin on the air of the telethon.

According to Besedin, the occupiers drop bombs weighing up to 1,500 kg in the center of Kupyansk, while the left bank and the outskirts of the city suffer from less powerful 250-300 kg KAB bombs. He emphasized that the left-bank part of Kupyansk was actually completely destroyed. Enemy attacks destroyed all critical infrastructure, destroyed all enterprises and civilian objects.

“The Left Bank has already been virtually destroyed. All the critical infrastructure, all the civilian infrastructure. Every enterprise that was there, it was destroyed by the enemy. And we see the tactics of the Russians leaving nothing but scorched earth.”, – said the officer

In addition, Russian troops continue to advance in the Kruglyakivka region, which is approximately 20 km from Kupyansk, threatening the lives of 4,000 civilians who remain on the left bank of the Oskil River. This was announced by the head of the Kupyansk district military administration, Andriy Kanashevich, on the air of “Public. Studio”. He called the situation “unpleasant”, noting that the occupiers can reach the Oskil River in the Kruglyakivka area.

Local settlements located along the river are in a critical zone due to continuous shelling. Villages like Novoosynove and Kruglyakivka are only 6-8 km from the front line, and it is almost impossible to restore electricity there. In addition, the beginning of the heating season remains under threat.

The evacuation of residents is complicated by constant Russian attacks on crossings from the left to the right bank. However, authorities continue to urge people to urgently leave dangerous areas while there is a possibility of safe evacuation. According to Kanashevich, even after the announcement of forced evacuation, many people are in no hurry to leave. In the region, there are 55 children in 45 families in the communities of Kindrasivska, Kurylivska and Kupyanska communities.

Authorities, including children’s services and law enforcement agencies, plan to evacuate all children from these areas in 2-3 weeks. Kanashevich noted that the residents refuse to leave due to unwillingness to recognize the real danger, often arguing that the situation in Kharkiv, where they are planned to be relocated, is allegedly even more dangerous.
