The SBI detained the nominal owner of the online casino “PIN-UP”
The SBI employees detained the nominal owner of the PIN-UP online casino, which is backed by Russian interests. About this reported in the department’s press service. By information RBC-Ukraine, we are talking about the owner of “PIN-UP Ukraine” Igor Zotko.
Currently, a petition is being prepared to apply a preventive measure to the suspect in the form of detention. The investigation established that the detainee could not legally contribute UAH 30 million to the authorized capital of the company that received the license. It was also found out that he was in Cyprus for a long time, where he was in contact with citizens of the Russian Federation, who are the real owners of the casino.
There is documentary evidence of this casino’s connections with Russian capital, sanctioned entities in Ukraine, and representatives of the Russian Federation. Persons associated with the casino operate on the territory of the so-called “LPR”, contributing to the financing of the budget of the aggressor, the power bloc, the defense and industrial complex of the Russian Federation and the war against Ukraine.
On the basis of the collected evidence, suspicions were raised against the actual beneficiaries of the casino, the top manager of the controlling body, the director and the owner of the trademark and domain name. The SBI, together with other bodies, is working on the withdrawal of seized funds for the benefit of the state in accordance with current legislation.
It will be recalled that earlier the court granted the request of the SBI and the Prosecutor General’s Office to transfer to ARMA more than 2.6 billion hryvnias seized from online casino accounts.
