Ukraine restores mandatory statistical reporting during martial law
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted changes that restore the obligation to submit statistical reports during martial law. About this reported State Statistics Service.
From now on, businesses, institutions and organizations in the controlled territories are again obliged to submit statistical and financial reports – as they did before the full-scale invasion.
“It’s important to understand: for the majority of respondents, nothing will change. Even now, without obligation, the reporting rate in certain regions exceeds 90-95%, in some places more than before the start of the full-scale invasion. We see that businesses are already ready to be part of the change.” – stressed the head of the State Statistics Service, Arsen Makarchuk.
Legislative changes provide for the full restoration of mandatory reporting, including statistical reporting; renewal of sample surveys of the population regarding employment, living conditions, income, etc.; and also establish a transition period lasting 3 months, during which enterprises will be able to submit reports for previous reporting periods when reporting was suspended.
“The economy is functioning, business is gradually recovering. The state should understand the real situation not approximately, but precisely”, – explained Arsen Makarchuk.
